Ultreia! book writing support program
“Thank you for being a book doula.
This book has been gestating for a long time and without your teaching it would have remained a pipe dream.
Your ability to support us to harness emotion and feeling is truly a gift.”

About Ultreia! book writing support program
The writing journey has been deeply rewarding but not without its challenges. I had to overcome my doubts about being ‘qualified’ to write. It was about finding my voice. There were moments of exhaustion, but the desire to share a resource that could help women learn independently kept me going.
A book writing intensive for people who know want they want to write and seek guidance coming to the page.
Ultreia! is a pilgrim word. It means ‘keep moving forward’. Ultreia! builds on our entry program, Write of Passage, and like Write of Passage it is modelled on the principles of pilgrimage. Show up, keep going!
Ultreia! offers guidance, encouragement and support to develop a comfortable writing process that fits with your everyday life as you write your book.
Details: 8 writing buddies, 4 weeks, 1 hour a week face to face live online (Zoom), with connection and engagement on the private FB group between sessions.
Facilitated by Dr Stephanie Dale.
Ultreia! is for anyone who wants to write:
* a memoir
* your family or community history
* the wisdom you’ve learned through life’s experiences
* a professional handbook sharing your expertise
* that novel you dreamed or never dreamed you could write.

“When I joined Stephanie’s writing group I had a title and a very loose collection of jottings. Stephanie’s insights provided in a very collegiate and supportive manner enabled me to produce a book with some pride. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone who feels the need to write and wants to do it well.”
