A passing line from a friend has snagged my attention.

She said: “your book will be the last book ever written.”

She is right. The books we write now will be the last books we can be certain were not written by artificial intelligence.

AI itself is not at issue here. It is that AI in its current incarnation is generative, it learns from what has gone before. What we write now is teaching AI what to write in the future. It is also teaching us how to read and what to read.

The books we long to write, the human writing about our human lives we long to leave for the children and the unborn in our line, these books must be written now.

The human writing of books and blogs that share our wisdom and expertise, the time to write them is now.

The spirited heart that longs for self-aligned languaged expression in the world, she must find her human voice now. Your voice, your visibility.

Your time is now.

Ultreia: show up, keep going.

The Ultreia next book writing support program starts in February – it’s modelled on the principles of pilgrimage and will help you find the words that align with your life, as you know yourself to be.

Show up, keep going.

Ultreia,
